I’m a Husband and Father

I’m married to my beautiful wife and partner Tiffany. We enjoy spending all our days together with our family. We are parents to six children and one grandchild who we love dearly.

I grew up and have spent my entire life in West Michigan. It’s home. I love the people, the culture and the fresh water.

I believe in freedom over stability. Because of this I choose to be an entrepreneur and help others do the same.

I believe the greatest book of all time is also an exceptional model of leadership.

My purpose is to be the Coach

I believe we were all made for a purpose. I believe that your purpose needs to be discovered. I’ve discovered that my purpose is to be the Coach.

I’ve been professionally coaching business owners and leaders since 2013. Prior to that I used my own coaching style to lead technology innovations for over 27 years. I have also coached over 30 different sports teams in soccer, diving, swimming and softball.

I’ve clocked well over 15,000 hours on the field of play and working one-on-one with people from all backgrounds and circumstances as their coach, to develop their skills, business, leadership and balance.

What makes me unique as a coach

I’m unique in my ability to facilitate thought and to design complex systems by seeing the big picture. I have a good balance of listening, asking questions and when called for, being direct. I can also see how complex systems fit together, where the weakness is, what the root problem is and the best practice to improve it.

I specialize in leadership. I believe leadership is a process that can be learned. Leadership begins with leading yourself. No one personality type is ideal, we all have unique gifts and talents for leading. We need to learn and execute the leadership process.

I also specialize in building, assessing and improving processes. I look at teamwork and organizational success as a series of processes. In this I am exceptional.

What is My impact?

The biggest impact is helping individuals get clear on their direction and to develop their skills for future decisions. This has helped people breakout and start new ventures or excel in their leadership roles.

Next is to increase a teams leverage with simple to understand skills and strategies to remove yourself as the bottleneck.

Finally, I believe we all need a coach. You should have a coach too. Because of this belief, our impact is through affordable coaching solutions for everyone.

Who do i work with?

I coach driven, open-minded leaders.

People ask me if I have a specific industry or audience. I am a self declared generalist. This means I work with all levels of skill and success in all sorts of businesses and industries. I coach the game of business - the greatest game on earth. I coach generally in all aspects of business, but my greatest expertise is leadership and processes. My client base is a reflection of the business landscape - local, national and International.

you have a pattern of thinking

I believe we all have patterns of thinking. Furthermore, I believe that these patterns limit our abilities. My role as a coach is to help you break free from your pattern of thinking so you can achieve greater success. From there, I help you stay focused to do the hard things you're trying to achieve.

What is our coaching model?

We all need a model for our style of play. We have created our own models called the Balanced Leadership Model and Balanced Business Model.

I have been influenced by many sources to develop these models, my father being the greatest, my coaches, mentors. I am also an avid learner and reader so many other exceptional models have influenced mine too.
